The Return of the Saviour was inspired by the many fanfics wherein Harry becomes more powerful. In an effort to create something unique that differed from the many stories already out there, I came up with The Rules of Existence, around which Harry's powers and the rules of magic are built in this story. Looking back, while I am still pleased with the premise, the characterisation could have been much better (specifically Luna), and the writing as a whole could certainly do with an overhaul.

When Harry gets hit with the killing curse again, it bounces back, and Voldemort must retreat, but Harry also disappears. Three years later the Dark Lord is back, stronger than ever, and a mysterious man named James Ruoivas has come to Hogwarts.
