Always a victim to the whims of Fate, Buffy finds herself trapped in another dimension. With no apparent way back, Buffy is determined to forge ahead in this new world where magic is the norm and a Dark Lord is on the rise.

Timeline: Canon divergence, alternate universe. Spoilers for BTVS s. 2 and 7, the MWPP-era, and all seven Harry Potter books.

Roads Travelled began as an editing process of the Out of the Blue series (see below), but it didn’t take much time for me to realize the amount I wanted to change meant it would be better to create an entirely new series. Based on the same premise, yes, but other than that, everything from plot to characters to the style of writing is very different.

When Buffy is thrown into another universe, it seems like the perfect chance to make a new start, but when a Dark Lord threatens the peace, Buffy must once again take up arms in defence of those she loves. Will the bonds she has formed survive the trials of war?

The Out of the Blue Series was my first major undertaking when it comes to fanfiction, just because of the sheer length of it. The first four stories got done relatively quickly, but most of my inspiration has since gone to Roads Travelled (above), a much better written ‘reboot’, but Out of the Blue is still being updated and will be finished.
